Really nice Woody Customs jem. There were the usual various chips and dents to repair.
This one, along with a couple more recent ones are a slight diversion in finishing materials to an acrylic lacquer. The focus was heavily on the artwork with a clearcoat that looked good and would provide adequate protection; they came out looking great and tough enough to take plenty of abuse but are not quite right for what I'm doing here so I'm moving back to my original finish but with a few extra tricks to get the high quality of finish.
